The persistence and spatial transformations of traditional Joglo house according to hamemayu hayuning bawana philosophy

This research aimed to explain the conceptual persistence of spatial transformations in Joglo house nDalem Puspodiningratan based on Hamemayu Hayuning Bawana philosophy. philosophy is public wisdom directed towards maintaining a harmonious relationship between humans and each other, nature, God. applied several dimensions Javanese life such as architecture which meaningfully designed. Moreover, observed be playing an important role configuration traditional house. It note that with well-maintained condition undergoes transformation due inhabitation alternating families. was, therefore, conducted using visual observation documentation, literature review, interviews, graphic method, comparison explore data background. The results showed persisted preserving Bawana's philosophical principles despite transformations. Meanwhile, discovered violating rules are believed reducing practice while those following maintain practice. There need for further buildings other cases show existence related Bawana.
